I am a 40 year old husband and father in Nashville, Tennessee.
Before Nashville, I was a bachelor in Arden, North Carolina, teaching science and outdoor education at an all boys day/boarding school. Before Arden, I taught IB Environmental Systems, Ecology, ESL Ancient and Medieval History (and ESL in the summer) at an “American” school in Switzerland for 4 1/2 years. Prior to that I lived in Tennessee, Texas or Georgia and was an environmental consultant (with two short stints with oil companies – don’t worry, I learned my lesson) traveling around the U.S. of A. While in college and for a bit afterwards, I was in the United States Marine Corps (Reserves), first as an Infantry mortarman (India 3/24) and later as a Combat Engineer (Delta, 4th CEB). With the Marines I traveled to various military bases around the U.S. as well as Panama and Saudi Arabia.
